Earlier this month, Shopify announced Shopify Shipping in Australia with Sendle. This announcement means easier and more affordable shipping. All businesses with locations in Australia (yes, including our New Zealand based merchants) can now purchase discounted shipping labels from Sendle, directly through Shopify.
Shopify Merchants can take advantage of some of the lowest domestic and international Sendle shipping rates available anywhere with discounted rates of up to 33.6%. No order minimum or Sendle account required, free signature on delivery (where available) and free parcel pickups. To top it off, it’s also 100% carbon-neutral shipping – Sendle is dedicated to sustainability, partnering with South Pole Group to offset all carbon emissions.
With zero additional subscription fees, merchants can simply create a shipping label from their order page, choose a parcel collection method, and print the discounted shipping label from a desktop or thermal printer. Custom forms for international orders and parcel tracking are also built-in. Merchants are able to keep track of orders, shipments, and parcel pickups all through Shopify admin. Labels and international customs forms will be populated with the name and address of your customers – no need to copy and paste or manually enter the data.
Have a preferred packaging solution? Merchants can also add their own packaging, or use Sendle compostable satchels. The satchels boast a domestic flat-rate without weight restrictions.
For merchants shipping from Australia, shipping with Sendle is already available with their Shopify plan. If you have an Australian Business Number (ABN), you’ll qualify for tax-free shipping on Shopify.
