JR Wholesale Meats had 25 years of experience providing quality meat products to restaurants across New Zealand when they realised there was a huge opportunity to create a DTC channel. With no previous website, Zyber worked with Online Meats to create and implement an eCommerce store powered by Shopify so that the general public can purchase the prime meat they have enjoyed in restaurants for years.

Our dedicated team of designers and developers collaborated with JR Wholesale Meats to bring to life their new business and brand story, Online Meats. As a brand new business to Shopify, our strategists supported Online Meats by setting up goals and KPIs on a quarterly basis and strived to achieve those targets. 

Through creative messaging and maximised advertising, we supported Online Meats to leverage their online sales during the COVID-19 lockdown. Their unique selling proposition of premium meat at an affordable price, combined with same day delivery caused sales to explode. Online Meats was the loudest butcher online, and subsequently they dominated the market.

Integration: Klaviyo

Our strategists saw the opportunities that a Klaviyo integration with their Shopify store could provide. The Klaviyo flows our team implemented allowed Online Meats to utilise their database, segment their customers and create customised messages for their valued customers.
