Square
Square is commonly best known for its small white card readers in physical stores. There’s more to the platform though. Square enables merchants to build a website or sell online without a website using Square Online Checkout.
Square Online Checkout
Merchants can simply give whatever they’re selling a name and a price and can create a link to sell online. Square Online Checkout accepts secure payments from multiple online channels.
With Shopify Payments there is no payment gateway transaction fee from the shopping cart (only a credit card processing fee). Shopify Payments charges a 2.5% fee + $0.30, this is on the lighter side of fees in comparison to third-party providers.
Square is an eCommerce software that’s free to set up and use, only paying 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction.

Curbside pickup and local delivery are available through Square Online Store. Delivery is available to sellers in every country Square Online Store has launched in, however, order text alert notifications are only enabled in the US at this time.
