CASE STUDY:

Pirate Nation.

Improving User Experience To Drive Loyal Repeat Customers.

The Brief.

Pirate Nation approached a few agencies as they believed they had outgrown their current web developer. They were already on the Shopify platform but the theme was outdated, there were gaps in their overall user experience (UX) design, and they were lacking social proof for the quality of the product, especially for a product that is used regularly and has high customer loyalty.

Our Approach.

Our digital strategy included a re-design of the website and UX, a subscription model to encourage repeat customers, and a loyalty/rewards/review interface to encourage customers to contribute user generated content to the site.

Klaviyo Integration.

Our developers integrated Pirate Nation with Klaviyo to streamline their email sequences and delight customers with relevant messages.

Smile Rewards.

Pirate Nation’s integration with smile.io automates the process of turning hard-earned sales into repeat customers. By offering rewards, Pirate Nations are also able to gain more reviews to showcase on product pages, increasing trust and leading to higher conversion rates.

ReCharge Subscription.

Those customer loyalty programs encourage customers to return, ReCharge enables those customers to turn their regular purchases into an automatic task. Customers are able to customise their subscription to receive their order every week, fortnight or month.
