Migrating to Shopify to Future Proof.

The Brief.

AMS Distributors were an existing Zyber client for another area of their business, Arrow Uniforms. They approached Zyber to re-platform their B2B website, Arrow Matting Systems, AMS Distributors. Their previous website was custom-built so naturally they wanted to move away from this and replatform to Shopify to enhance UX/UI and empower their team to manage the site themselves.

AMS Distributors desired a seamless transition to Shopify to modernise their B2B website, emphasising usability and scalability. The new website, non-transactional in nature, aimed to showcase their extensive product range while facilitating inquiries and product sample requests from customers.

Our Approach.

Our skilled team of Shopify experts executed a seamless re-platforming process, leveraging Shopify's functionality to showcase AMS Distributors' product range effectively. In addition to emphasising high-quality content and lifestyle photography on product pages, we integrated three Klaviyo flows—monthly newsletter, abandoned cart, and order confirmation—into their Shopify store. These automation flows were meticulously set up with triggers and integrated with the customer database to enhance engagement and streamline communication.

Furthermore, as part of our Support and Success (S&S) growth strategy offering, we identified an opportunity to improve AMS Distributors' B2B offering by automating and integrating with HubSpot. Our strategists seamlessly integrated HubSpot with Shopify, creating a sales pipeline to track the progress of lead submissions from website forms to consultation, follow-up, and eventual sale closure. Additionally, we implemented automations to set reminders for the sales team to follow up with customers after consultations, ensuring no potential leads fell through the cracks.

Project Outcomes.

Although the current eCommerce website is non-transactional, AMS Distributors have future-proofed their business model as they can pivot swiftly to offer online transactions if and when the need arises.
